We booked Villa Kalamari for a relaxing getaway after 5 days in Bangkok. It was ample room for 6 people (each had a bedroom + en suite bathroom, 1 couple shared) and a beautiful, well maintained property. The property itself sits on the beach so views are incredible and there is direct beach access. Even though the beach is public, it feels secluded and private. Having walked a stretch both directions, Villa Kalamari is the most impressive property save for the Four Seasons Koh Samui just 5 min Grab away. Davide was helpful, responsive, friendly from booking through end of our trip. His onsite team included Anna, our day-to-day manager, and her team of several staff. They were respectful and accommodating, helpful but not intrusive. We had a delicious, varied Thai breakfast that was included everyday. We also asked for Thai lunch and dinner most days at cost, and they can accommodate most any dish you request. The food was among the best Thai we ever had. We cannot wait to return!

We spent 10 days (3 families with children) in this fabulous villa! The house is well decorated, the swimming pool is amazing and the view is incredible. The staff was very friendly and prepared us succulent breakfast and once the barbecue. Ana was very helpful and organized us everything we needed. We appreciated the location of the villa, as the area is not that touristic, so you feel like you have your private beach. However, you can reach by foot from the road or the beach a lot of typical restaurant and also supermarket and massage. We thank you very much Davide, you are a super host and we had perfect holidays!

2 families with kids aged 5-8. The villa is situated on a lovely quiet beach, we made use of the paddle board and kayak. Villa is lovely and modern, bathrooms are nice and bed comfortable. Air con works well. Looks like the photos. Davide was helpful & responsive before and during our stay, providing local tips and taxi numbers etc. Anna and her team were lovely & kept the villa in pristine condition during our stay and the breakfast was amazing, so much food. We also had two BBQ nights & a Thai dinner cooked by Anna on 3 of our evenings, all the food was delicious. We had massages at the villa which Anna arranged which were really good. 7-11 shop 5 min walk as well as a few bars and restaurants. Out of the villa along the beach to the right we ate at Wilson’s Bar (10 minute beach stroll), food and cocktails were good, another little place next door to Wilson’s which had live music as well. 2 bedrooms are separate building from the main villa so if travelling with kids bear in mind.

The villa is beautiful, overlooking a peaceful beach and exceeded are high expectations. The villa itself and the grounds are great, a fantastic pool, large garden and immediately on the beach. Inside the villa is modern with a large up to date kitchen (and billiards table), family room with an enormous tv screen and five en-suite bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The villa comes with a staff that are highly professional, hospitable and made our trip even more memorable! K Ann is an incredible cook and we almost had no reason to ever leave the grounds. Davide is a particularly gracious and attentive host – communicating with us clearly and making sure that we were enjoying our time in Samui. We have stayed in many beach villas in Thailand and the Kalamari ranks among the best (if not the best) that we have stayed in. Highly recommend.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at Davide’s place! It’s even better than the pictures show. Very peaceful and private yet walkable to many good restaurants, 7-11, and massage. We were so happy we stayed here compared to the tourist beaches. The house is beautiful and you can’t beat the pool pretty much right on the beach! The staff is wonderful and friendly. They cooked great breakfasts every morning. We also ordered the BBQ dinner from them which was delicious. Davide was very responsive too. We had one minor issue and he was there to fix it within 10 minutes. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Davide’s villa for 4 nights. 3 families, totaling 8 adults and 5 kids (all under age of 4). We felt very comfortable during our whole stay. Davide communicated clearly with us from booking until after checking out and arriving home. We made use of all rooms and facilities, everything was generally well maintained. House keeping to a high standard. We ate most our meals at the villas, especially the kids meals which the team arranged fantastically The villa is right on the beach, there are a number of restaurants and cafes nearby, however it can be a bit noisy from the roadside traffic. Overall a fantastic stay.

We had the most memorable family holiday at this beautiful villa. Davide was so helpful in the lead up to the booking to organise private chef and transport etc. We were welcomed onsite by Anna and her team who were so fantastic. This place, where should I start. It’s beautiful, remarkable, phantastic. The moment you enter the gate, you feel like you just entered paradise. Davide and his team take care of everything and welcome you like an old and loved family member. They know what hospitality means, are always there whenever you need they, but on the other side leave you your private space. The villa itself is astonishing and you can find all you need, literally everything. Yoga mats, drink cups for adventures, a BBQ grill, a playstation, even a massage chair. Everybody who is looking for a lovely, private house with wonderful people and incredible food, here it is. There is only one negative point: you have to leave… Thanks for being awesome Davide and Ratah and the rest of the team.

Amazing! My extended family was lucky enough to stay at Kalamari Villa for almost 2 weeks and we had the best time. The Villa is absolutely stunning in every way. We stay with 11 people, the Villa is spacious and it didn’t feel crowded at all. Everything is very modern with traditional Thai style in mind. The kids loved the pool( great size), the beach right in front, and the pool table. There are stand up paddle boards,a canoe and more. The beach is lovely, very quiet and not touristy (which we really appreciated). Across the road is an excellent massage place and many restaurants are in easy walking distance along the beach. Close by is a health retreat where my sister did yoga. The highlight are Davide and Anna, with their staff,absolut fantastic . They go above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay,have time for yourself and family and relax. Breakfast is delicious and make sure you book in some Dinner with Anna,better than most restaurants. We hope to be back soon.

I spent the weekend in Koh Samui to celebrate my birthday with my friends, I was very happy to have chosen Kalamari villa..!! My review will be the first they will have for this villa and I am very happy to be the first to do it..! The villa is brand new and perfect..! very clean with 2 maids who came to clean the rooms and all around the villa and prepare breakfast for us which is included every morning making this experience unique and the food is excellent..! On Saturday evening we booked the BBQ Night that is served by the villa staff at the beach front Kitchen and living room illuminated by a spectacular sunset… Davide the manager and Ann the supervisor together with the two Maids they gave me one of the most beautiful moments in my holiday to remember forever…! The villa building is big and Cosi, well furnished with big garden and there are all the services and accessories you find in a five-star luxury resort…!
